Derbyshire County Council is offering a series of free Modern Slavery Awareness webinars for frontline practitioners and volunteers across Derbyshire.
This 90-minute online session is ideal for anyone who would like to improve their understanding of modern slavery and human trafficking, including:
- What modern slavery is and where it happens.
- Recognising the signs of exploitation.
- The impact on individuals.
- How to raise concerns and access support.
- An introduction to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and local referral procedures.

Alongside the webinar, Derbyshire County Council also offers a range of free eLearning modules, including:

- Anti-Social Behaviour
- Prevent (Counter Terrorism)
These courses are suitable for many professionals and volunteers working with vulnerable people and communities.
