Derbyshire County Council has released a new programme of free Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training taking place throughout August and September 2026.

The courses are available to individuals living or working in Derbyshire and cover a range of options, including:

• Adult Mental Health First Aid (face-to-face)
• Adult Mental Health First Aid (online)
• Youth Mental Health First Aid
• MHFA Refresher training

These nationally recognised courses are designed to help participants recognise the signs of poor mental health, offer initial support, and guide people towards appropriate professional help.

Places can fill quickly, so if you’re interested we encourage you to book as soon as possible.
